Perhaps one of the sweetest alpacas in our herd is Crescent Moon’s Rosie Locks. Her offspring are the same way. Rosie is also a Female Gray Champion at the National Show and the Futurity Show among her other distinguished show wins. As a matter of fact, when she was showing she ran the table with a color championship at every show she went to. The very pleasing Shadow Locks is a direct offspring of Rosie’s, and we know you’ll see her excellence upon your inspection. The sire of Shadow Locks is the incredible Liberty’s Manifest-Destiny. His accomplishments are well documented culminating with his Supreme Dark Male Championship as the 2020 National Show. For us, Shadow Locks is a gray alpaca, both in her roaning phenotype and in her genotype as well. So that is the way that we would breed her. She sells with her first pairing here at Crescent Moon Ranch, and if you are looking for gray your options don’t get much better. Both Crescent Moon’s Emmaus and Crescent Moon’s Kolbe (co-owned with Odin Falls Alpacas) are closed to outside breeding but available for this mating if you like. Shadow Locks’ breeding is non-transferrable.
