East coast breeders are well familiar with the excellence brought forth by 382 Peruvian Zephyrus, now deceased and formerly owned by Sunset Hills Alpacas and The Cria Barn. Zephy as he was often called, was a very handsome alpaca with a dense and high frequency style of fleece. He had a great show and production career, and we were able to breed with him a few times. Crescent Moon’s Ziva is the last of our Zephyrus offspring. She has been a fabulous producer for us, and her daughters are cherished here. One look at Zestiny and you will understand why. Zestiny has an intense fleece! She is extremely dense with advanced stapling, uniformity of micron and brightness. All that goodness is packed onto a very correct and boxy frame.
