Snowdrop

In 2020, at the National Show as we were all locked inside the venue (figuratively speaking), awaiting news on the virus, Snowdrop’s dam (Crescent Moon’s Moonflower) was being awarded the Reserve Color Champion Light Female as a juvenile. That would be her one and only moment in the show ring, but she made good on the opportunity. Her daughter, Crescent Moon’s Snowdrop (featured here) made good on hers as well, with strong showings around the country this past winter and spring. It’s no wonder that she did well as a juvie and very young yearling. She has a glorious flee

Dessi

Dessi

#36150908 |  DOB: 5/5/2022 |  Color: Light Fawn

You need to come to her stall and look at Dessi’s fleece! I could ramble on about all its inherent attributes and the words would be storytelling and accurate but still wouldn’t do the fleece justice. Take that incredible fleece and pack it on a strong, thick, and sturdy frame. Acknowledge her pleasing head type and her easy disposition and suffice it to say that Crescent Moon’s Dessi is a cornerstone female for any serious breeder on the planet who breeds alpacas!

Crescent Moon’s Ziva is the last of our Zephyrus offspring. She has been a fabulous producer for us, and her daughters are cherished here. One look at Zestiny and you will understand why. Zestiny has an intense fleece! She i

Abundance, that is the first word that comes to my mind when we think of Crescent Moon’s Royal Locks. When finally shorn it was easy to see that she maintained excellent fineness and uniformity of fineness and maintained it abundantly! Because of her uniformity throughout, a big blanket was harvested with not much left to skirt out. Her length of staple was admirable for about 10 months of growth at roughly 5 inches and her perceived density confirmed again, abundance! So, recognizing the term abundance is a good thing and keeping in line with the spirit of the term we’ll recommend

Alessandra

Alessandra

#36208500 |  DOB: 9/14/2022 |  Color: Bay Black

Crescent Moon’s Alessandra was the second to the last cria born to us last year in the 2022 birthing season. She wasn’t even on the radar to go to an alpaca show but should have been. That pleasure can be all yours in the coming year. Crescent Moon’s Alessandra has a deeprooted black and gray history, which reveals a collection of names worth acknowledging for the excellence they achieved and passed on. Gaze at her pedigree and see what we mean. Alessandra is well bred! Her fleece displays very good density, a high frequency style of character with advanced uniformity. And b
